Scandinavian-style kitchen
In the Villeray neighborhood, near the Jean-Talon metro station, an old duplex converted into a condo required a major transformation. The young couple who owned it wanted to expand their living space. The designer chose to close the wall that separated the kitchen from the hallway while opening up the one that separated the kitchen from the dining room. This modification created a linear kitchen with an elegant island and plenty of storage solutions.
The Scandinavian aesthetic blends perfectly with the European laminate furniture in seaside blonde and white tones from Miralis, enhanced with black handles. In addition, the black Cambrian granite countertop and backsplash add a touch of sophistication to the design. The natural maple hardwood floor throughout the entire space provides visual continuity, giving the impression of a larger area.
